Tell me what you think

Hey Everyone, i have put some thought into it and i wanted to thank the most colorful fans of my book by giving them a tablet or ereader but the only problem is i’m not sure which is a great one. So i am open to suggestions but lets be realistic i am not Warren Buffet so an ipad is out of the picture but all other suggestions are welcomed.

Recently i have heard few readers believe my book is a combination of The Avatar the Legend of Korra  and Harry Potter. I believe it’s great that people are talking about my book but i would like to set the record straight on a few things.

Is The Four Elements: The Fallen Knights different from The Avatar the Legend of Korra?

I can only speak from my writing, but from what i know Elementals and the Avatar world are different. First, most all Elementals can control all the elements but in The Avatar only one person can control the four elements.  Speaking of abilities, what can Benders and Controllers do?

Powers: Elementals have many abilities as well as Benders. I feel there is no need to compare but it’ll still fun.

Elementals are born with too much water in the blood stream which is the connection to controlling. Elementals can manipulate and can not produce the elements….  Fire for example is something that can be produced with in an Elemental by their desire. Each person has desires in life, a thing or emotion they truly want. That desire is cast into a fire and each fire is a different color. White is true desire of destruction, Green is knowledge, red is to love and to be loved and more.

Benders can manipulate as well but when the Moon is full their abilities are stronger. The moon has no effect on Elementals

If you disagree or just want to tell me what you think please comment.Trash talking is welcomed!  Stay tuned to my next post, The Avatar: the Legend of Korra  mets Harry Potter part Two!

The Four Elements: The Fallen Knights by Stephen Gawn

YA/Fantasy. (4 of 5 stars)

Born into a secret society of Elementals, sixteen year old Michael McCloud is eager to learn the extent of his uncontrollable powers. Terra, Aqua, Aero and Pyro (earth, water, wind and fire) are the four subjects he must study and master when he is accepted into Embury, an elite school for Elementals hidden deep within a mystical forest.

Adventurous and foolish at times, Michael finds it difficult to become the model student his Elder wants him to be. He is constantly getting into trouble for sneaking out after curfew, skipping class, and smart-mouthing the many patrollers who wander the grounds after dark, but Michael can’t help himself. The cryptic messages appearing outside his window, which burst into flames as soon as he has read them, keep distracting him from his schoolwork and his training for the Phoenix Agility team. Michael wants to be a star athlete and talented Elemental at the same time, but why is someone threatening his life? And what does the riddle of King Arthur’s lost treasure have to do with his grandfather’s pocket watch?

Written in simple prose, Stephen Gawn’s first novel, The Four Elements: the Fallen Knights, plunges an ordinary teenager into an extraordinary world of magic, danger and mystery. Gawn delights with fantastical themes and wildly imaginative creatures that could only exist within the folds of this page-turning adventure story. Although crowded at times with multi-layered twists and turns, elaborate details and characters that may or may not fit into place, Gawn does a satisfactory job holding his plot together.

Amazon or everyone else?

This is a hard choose to make as an indie author and as person who wants the world to read his work. I think that smashwords has done a great job and I would like to thank them for all their work and time.

so if anyone actually reads this I would like you to have your voices heard and tell us (me) what you want.

What is your true fire?

Hello everyone,
Welcome to The Four Elements: The Fallen Knights Blog.  I am taking baby steps at the moment to get everything in order so that everyone can enjoy my first ever novel and so that everyone can have a place to voice their ideas.

My purpose of making this novel was to basically write for fun. I never thought it would go from a bunch of scribbles in a notebook into a full novel. Now my true goal is to give you all action packed experiences  where you are on the edge of your seat and where your palms sweat in anticipation.  (keyword action!)

I hope you all enjoy the novel and i hope to hear your thoughts and ideas.

Stephen Gawn.

P.S. One thing you must know is that i love to change the game at the drop of a hat.
